Austin Bilingüe is a community group based in Austin, Texas that believes that dual language English/Spanish immersion education can provide children in Central Texas with key long term advantages as they proceed with their elementary and secondary education given the demographic, political, and economic trends that face our country. The group acts as a catalyst to help create awareness and interest in dual language education in the community, share best practices amongst those launching dual language education programs, and as a networking vehicle for families, educators, government officials, and other stakeholders in our educational system.
